The Sunbeam 12/30 featured a 1598cc four cylinder overhead valve engine. A Claudel Hobson MZP carburettor was fitted and the 12/30 used magneto ignition. The gearbox was a three speed unit.
Suspension was by semi-elliptics at the front and cantilevers at the rear. Rear wheel brakes only were fitted. Tourer and Weymann saloon bodies were listed.
Around 95 examples were made.
