Sunbeam 25/30

Another Shaw design, the 25/30 used a 5103cc six cylinder L-head sidevalve engine fed by twin carburettors. It had a wheelbase of 10ft 4in, a gauge (track) of 4ft 4in. and weighed 26cwt. The chassis was ash with steel reinforcing plates. Chain drive was used with the oil bath chain case. Ignition was by magneto, and it continued the variable lift inlet valve system.

As a chassis only it cost £750, while with the standard touring body it cost £800.

Approximately 12 were made.
