The Sunbeam 24 was based on the chassis of the prewar 25/30. It used a six cylinder sidevalve engine of 4524cc, producing 50bhp. For 1919-20, the 24 used an SU carburettor, before changing to a Claudel Hobson. A four speed gearbox was fitted and it used semi elliptic suspension, underslung at the rear. Brakes were fitted to the rear wheels only.
Approximately 753 examples were built.
For 1922, a sports model was added with a 24 valve overhead camshaft engine of 4524cc.
