2009
Proposed for production in 2025, this concept car was designed by Briton Ryan Skelley to commemorate the 1925 Sunbeam Tiger record car.
This concept is an electric car powered by lithium titanate batteries. It would have a range of 800 miles (assuming advances in battery technology) and would be good for a speed-limited 160mph. Environmentally-friendly materials used in its construction would include a recycled aluminium frame, soy foam and biofabric seats. natural fibre brake pads, eco-paint, cornstarch tyres and hemp-fibre and vegetable oil resin body panels.
It should achieve a 0-60mph sprint in 2.3 seconds.
